Hull Kingston Rovers Batley Bulldogs Report

58 - 18

The full time team from Hull K.R. proved too strong for the part-timers from Batley as they ran in 10 tries to come out winners by 58-18. The Robins, though, paid Batley the ultimate compliment by taking their opposition seriously. The difference between the two divisions however proved to be an obstacle too high, although the Batley performance was full of merit. The Dogs can take away a lot from this display and concentrate on their Championship opposition London Broncos next weekend.

The Batley try scorers were Leak, Lillycrop and Rowe, and Pat Walker landed 3 conversions
