On sunday the Bulldogs take on the Bulls at Mount Pleasant, and after the encounter we shall no doubt see just where we stand. Realistically, the best we can hope for is a bumper gate. Bradford are really on a roll – after losing the first match of the season 36 – 24 to Leigh, they have acclimatized well in the Championships, and in the next three games ran up a total of 130 points for to 14 against

Leigh Centurions – Bradford Bulls
36 - 24
The Bulls took 2500 fans to Hunslet last week. Certainly we should be looking for an attendance of around 3500, less would be a disappointment. The club at least are envisioning big things, as they call out to fans to get to the stadium early. Assumedly though, it won’t be just the pre-match atmosphere that the fans will be supping 😉
Batley will be missing Scott Leatherbarrow who broke his hand, and although Bradford Bulls will also be missing Matty Blythe who has a back problem, Bulls coach Jim Lowe has a selection headache after the return of Australian scrum-half Harry Siejka after a two match ban.
My prediction: Batley 6 Bradford 30
