Leatherbarrow Kicks The Dogs To Victory!
The trusty boot of Scott Leatherbarrow proved to be the difference between the two teams in a hard fought tussle between the two rivals. This was illustrated by the yellow cards awarded to Dewsbury’s Nash and Batley’s Campbell late in the first half.
At the end of the day Leatherbarrow landed four goals (two of which were from penalties) while his Dewsbury counterpart was unable to score at all.
After winning three of the last four, surely the Bulldogs will go into the next round of the bottom eights full of confidence.

Batley wanted it more today , strong running and hard tackling won them the game and Dewsbury where giving to many penalties away as they were frustrated cause they didnt have it there own way .
And Glenn Morrison wasn’t too impressed either, so I have heard.
Thanks for your thoughts Michael!
