Dogs Draw with Bulls in Another Thriller

After Patch Walker missed the conversion attempt against Bradford to make it 22 -24 with just a few minutes left in the game, it looked as though Bradford had done enough to take away the points.

But the Bulldog spirit brought the rewards as a penalty goal on the final hooter meant the points were to be shared between the two. There can be no criticising the efforts of the Bulldogs who put in another tremendous display, and came back once again after being 12- 24 down. Batley can take heart from another spirited and class performance, and after having the most difficult starts to the season, they can now concentrate on consolidating their league position with a few fixtures over the next few weeks, that are, at least on paper, doable.
