Bulldogs slump in Cumbria

The Bulldogs came down to earth with a big thump after suffering defeat in Cumbria at the hands of Whitehaven, a game that Batley really needed to win. After good performances against London and Leigh, Batley were unable to reproduce the form that had led to praise in the previous two games, and with only 5 games remaining the Bulldogs are now 11th in the table and struggling to survive a very disappointing season.
