Batley kept up the pressure on the contenders for a top four spot in the Championships with a fine win over Oldham by 42-18. both James Brown and Dom Brambani got a brace as the Bulldogs ran in 7 tries to hammer out a warning to their rivals in this contest.
Meanwhile Bradford lost ground in a dramatic last minute defaet to the hands of Dewsbury, making Batley third place outright in the league.
Next match up is a visit the Eagles from Sheffield who are smarting from a 60 points defeat to the hands of in-form Halifax. Batley however will do well not to undererstimate wounded animals..
