The Batley Bulldogs have now lost the last 4 games (including the Challenge Cup), twice against rivals Dewsbury, who apart from their encounters with the Bulldogs, still have to win a game this season. Now news reaches us that Shaun Squires has left us, crossing the valley, and according to rumour James Brown has followed him. The next game – Hull KR – comes definately at the wrong time
Batley is (still) comfortably positioned at the moment in 6th spot in the Championships, but things could change quickly if the fall isn’t checked. What are your thoughts on the current situation at Mount Pleasant? Is Kevin Nicholas waiting too long before reacting, or will his apparent faith in the current set up ultimately pay off?
