Bulldogs impress in Leigh clash

A terrific display by Batley went unrewarded as Leigh ran in three tries in 7 minutes in the second half to win the game ultimately by 26 – 22. Things boiled over late in the match with two yellow cards for Gareth Hock and a red card each for Tom Lillycrop and Jamie Acton to end a very frustrating outing for Batley.

However after three very difficult matches Batley now faces Whiutehaven next week in Cumbria before Doncaster come to the Mount, and after the Bulldogs performance in the last two games, they must fancy their chances of getting 4 points in these matches to ease the pressure.
