Bulldogs clip Eagle’s wings

Fans and officials of the Batley Bulldogs can sit back and enjoy the Rugby League weekend ahead, as the Dogs beat the fulltimers Sheffield at the Hallam Universities Sports Park 24 – 10 thus putting pressure on the contenders for the Top Four. Batley cannot be pushed from third spot this weekend at least, and with contenders for third and fourth place all playing away from home this weekend, there could be some surpirses.

Keegan Hirst, Greg Minikin, Wayne Reittie and Joe Chandler all ran in tries, which were successfully converted by Pat Walker.
