Broncos too strong for plucky Batley

A ten minute lack of concentration at the start of the second half was enough to see London run in winners in a tightly fought battle at the Foxes Biscuits Stadium, with Batley giving a good account of themselves after a string of very poor previous performances.

The lackluster performances of the previous weeks obviously had their effect on the attendance though: Only 341 supporters wanted to see the game, although the prices had been cut and the club had announced half of the gate receipts would go to the Danny Jones fund.
