Batley impress but fail again
It is the age old story that has repeated itself game after game this season. Once again Batley impressed against Halifax, but failed to bring any points back home. Supporters must be wondering what Batley have done wrong to have so much bad luck time and time again.
The main talking point after the match for Bulldog fans was Reittie’s try which was disallowed for an alleged offside, although the video seems to show otherwise. However it is now important for the bulldogs to build up on this performance for the last two games against Hunslet and Dewsbury, which if won, could take Batley up to 8th in the league, and therefore to safety.
