Second half Sheffield blitz sinks Bulldogs

A second half comeback from Sheffield down the hill at the Foxes Biscuits Stadium was enough to see off Batley who were up 12-0 at one point. Sheffield however then scored 40 unanswered points to take away the goods and put crisis ridden Batley into a difficult position with more difficult tasks laying ahead.

After the results from sunday with Workington drawing at Dewsbury, and Whitehaven beating the Hawks, the Bulldogs slump to tenth position in the table, and relegation seems a real threat now.
